ALT-d command does nothing #998

Describe the bug
By default, in my terminal, ALT-d deletes the next word. copilot eats that and nothing happens. Ctrl-a and Ctrl-e works as expected.

Steps to reproduce the behavior
Write a sentence, move cursor to beginning of sentence with Ctrl-a . Press alt-d to delete the first word. Nothing happens.
Expected behavior
Alt-d deletes the next word.
