URL:

Browser Name:

Chrome

Browser Version:

143.0.7499.170

Operating System:

Windows 11 Home 23H2

How to reproduce the issue:

At least one older Node.js blog posts (from 2013) links to scalenpm.org, which was used at the time as a donation/crowdfunding page for scaling the npm registry. That domain is probably no longer controlled by NodeJS and now appears to be hosting casino / gambling SEO content.

I recommend removing all links and references to this domain.

The affected blog post is here: https://nodejs.org/en/blog/npm/2013-outage-postmortem

I don't know if other posts are affected. I couldn't find any through a quick search.
